Hey everyone, in this video tutorial we're gonna go over our TV slideshow and, uh, Pro Presenter slideshow announcements for horizontal, vertical, multiple screens. We're gonna take a look through all of that today. So, uh, really what this is is your announcement goes in one spot and then you can say, go to our digital TVs, go to our Pro Presenter, and that all starts in the back of editing a post. So, as you're working on a post here, uhm, you can come over here on the side and you'll be able to select different categories. Now, different churches have different ones set up. For this church we have a TV horizontal, a TV vertical, and then we also have a Pro Presenter. Uhm, so, now that is gonna show you where, uh, things are gonna go. Now, to start off, you typically are gonna have a featured image that says, it's gonna show up everywhere, and that's default. Now, some churches, all you have is a horizontal screen, this is all you need. Uhm, now, this is gonna show up in your social media, this is gonna show up on your website, in your e-newsletter, it'll show up on your TVs. But, if you want a special image just for your horizontal TVs, you can come over here to Slideshow Media, and you'll be able to select either an image or a video. Now, if you have a video, you know, it's gonna override the image, so, just think, uh, video is, uh, gonna take priority, then image, and then, uh, back up to the featured image. Now, same goes for vertical, uhm, it's gonna go vertical video, then, uh, vertical slideshow image, and then it'll default to the featured image there. So, you wanna keep that in mind as you're building out your slideshow media. Uhm, and it'll sort of remind you here, this is gonna be based off of the settings that we'll go through here in just a second. Now, we can adjust that, you can customize that per screen if you need to, uhm, but we find this to, most people will default to the featured image, but if for some reason on your TVs, on your ProPresenter, or TVs on your MediaShout, or TVs in your foyer, You want like a QR code of the same announcement. You just want to put a QR code QR code on it, then go into Canva, put a QR code on it, and upload it right here into the slideshow image. Uhm, now you can put an animated video here, it needs to be an mp4, so if you're editing that maybe in Canva or something like that, and you have like a little arrow pointing, hey, Kids Ministry this way, and it's sort of animated, know that the slideshow will wait for that video to finish, and then it'll move to the next slide. Uhm, so that's really where you need to set, uhm, and add your images. Again, you can just use the featured images, but if you want something different for horizontal, you can do that here. If you need something just for vertical, you can do that here. Now, one thing that a lot of churches will do is make like a silence your cellphones type of screen, uhm, for their Pro Presenter, or for in their announcement slides inside of their worship center. So if you're doing that, you can just come in and create something, put a featured image there, and all you'd click is, Pro Presenter, and it would show up on your Pro Presenter or MediaShout, sort of, in worship announcement slides there. So, that's how you do that there. Now, all of these are going to be based off of, uh, a couple of things here. So I'm going to show you, in the back end, you can go to Settings, click on Smart Post Slideshow, and you'll be able to set a default category, or an image rotation time, or a transition time. This is also where you You can change the default. priority order. So this is saying, hey, we're going to go Video, then Vertical Video, then we'll go Image, then Vertical Image, and then the Featured Image. Now, the next things to take a look at here is we basically build out a page for each of these. So I'm going to go show you if you need to create a new category. Now, all of these are based off of categories, so you can go to Announcements and Categories, and you'll be able to see we have a Pro Presenter category, and then we have a TV Horizontal, TV Vertical. So that'll put anything that's in the TV Horizontal on the TV Horizontal page. So let me just show you how to create a page. So I'm going to create one for just Pro Presenter. So I'm going to go to Add a Page. So I'm going to go to Website Pages, click on Add a Page. I'm just going to call this, ah, Pro Presenter. And you could create this for whatever you need. Uhm, now I'm going to go ahead and click on Use the Divi Builder. Alright, it's going to ask you how you'd like to build this out. Now you can go and say, I want to choose a saved layout. Then you can click on Your Existing Pages here. And we're just going to go find an old one. So I could say, hey, Vertical TV. Uhm, we'll say use this layout. And so these layouts will be pre-built for you, but just showing you how you can use them. If you need to create something new. So here's Pro Presenter. So that's going to be the page that people will see. I'm going to come over here to the side. And two things we want to, ah, adjust here. One, we want to say, we want a blank page because all we want on here is that. The other thing that we're going to do is we're going to come over, ah, to Rank Math. We're going to go to Advanced. We're going to say No Index, No Image, No Index, No Archive, No Snippet. What that's going to do is it's just basically hide it from Google so that people don't just find your, ah, Pro Presenter TV pages here. Now, we're going to click on the Edit button next to this code. And we're going to adjust a few things here. So this, the category we're going to pull from is we want to say we want to, ah, pull from Pro Presenter. And then just showing you this Just so that you can say, hey, we need this to be the display horizontal. And then the rotation seconds. So if you need to adjust how quickly a certain slideshow is going, just go edit the page, edit this code, and you can change this from 400, , however long or slow you want it to go. Uhm, that's really all you need to do. We'll go ahead and click on Publish. Now this page will be live and you'll be good to see this on the front end. So now if we go to backslash Pro Presenter. You will see the eight slides, if we go over to Categories, you'll see there's eight slides in there. And it's going to automatically rotate through those eight slides. So that's really how you can go in, make some adjustments to the settings. Really what you'll be looking at is adjusting each of these, uhm, uh, sort of areas here. Now there is a whole nother tutorial on how to work with ProPresenter specifically, uhm, and so if you're using ProPresenter, you can look at ProPresenter, uh, the tutorial that we'll have linked at the bottom of this, uh, tutorial. And in there, you'll learn how to add these as slides in ProPresenter, so you'll never have to build announcement slides again in ProPresenter. We also have another tutorial I'll link below as far as setting up your TVs. But I wanted to just give you a back end of how to use the vertical versus horizontal using stills or images and how to use all of that. So if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at support at 10apps.com. Thanks so much. Have a great day.
