This SOP outlines the steps to enable or disable the sound feature on both vertical and horizontal TVs within the Tent Apps platform. Users can add a 'tap to unmute' button that allows audio playback after an interaction, suitable for specific environments where sound may be desired.
sound="on" in the options provided.Hey everyone, in this video tutorial, we're gonna show you how to enable the sound feature that allows you to turn sound on. So, maybe on a vertical TV or a horizontal TV you want sound to show up on one of your TVs. Now, most TVs by default, by default, and the browser do not allow you to play audio until somebody interacts with it. So you can just use, uh, this feature to allow you to do that. So let me show you, it's gonna add a little tap to unmute button here, where once you click that, it'll, uh, go ahead and play that audio. Um, so I'm gonna go ahead and go back in the back end now to edit this, how you can turn this on or off. So I'm on this vertical TV. All you do is go edit the page in the back end. So go to pages, search for vertical TV or horizontal TV. Or whatever TV you're working on. And if you click on the cog here, where it says code, you'll see some options in here. Now, if you wanna turn it on, all you have to do is add this option in here that says sound equals quotation mark on quotation mark. Now, if you don't want that, all you have to do is remove that. And that'll remove that button. The default is to not have sound and to not have that button. Umm, but we've added this, uh, option to allow you to be able to play sound if you need it for some reason. We do find that most people in their foyers or lobby areas, it's already busy and loud enough and you don't need the extra sound. But there might be a special situation where you do want sound there. So, if you want that, then you can do that by adjusting this. So, listen if you have any questions, thanks. Thanks.
