How to locate your Google Calendar iCal Link

Overview

  1. Log in to your Google Calendar account at calendar.google.com.
  2. Locate the calendar you want to share and click on the three dots next to its name.
  3. Select 'Settings and sharing' from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the settings, ensure the calendar is made available to the public by checking the appropriate box.
  5. Scroll down to find the iCal link (the code provided in the settings).
  6. Copy the iCal link.
  7. Email the copied iCal link to support@tentapps.com.
  8. If you encounter issues, verify that the calendar is set to public and resend the link if necessary.

So, sometimes we need to get the iCal link if you would like your Google Calendar for your church or whatever to be included on your app. So, I'm going to show you how to do that today. Right now, I'm on the, calendar.google.com, and you'll want to be logged in as whatever account you want added to the app. And, so, I'm going to go over here, and I'm going to hit the three dots next to my name. And, I'm going to go to settings and share. And, the first thing I want to do, which this is probably already done on your app if you already have it live on the website. But, the first thing I want to do is I want to make it available to the public. That is very important. And, then I'm going to click okay. And, then I'm going to scroll all the way down, and I want this code right here. So, after you make it public, you are going to grab this guy right here. All you have to do is copy it. And, send it over to us in an email. And, you will send that to support@tentapps.com. And, then we will take it from there and get it added to your app.
