Tent Apps PCO Connection - How to sync events



Step-by-Step Guide: Syncing Planning Center Events to Your Website as Posts

  1. Create a New Event in Planning Center
    In Planning Center, click New Event, label it (e.g., "Demo Event"), set the date and time, and add a description.

  2. Set Church Center Visibility
    Under Church Center Visibility, select Featured and then click Save.

  3. Add an Image to the Event
    After saving, view the event and add an image.

  4. Sync Events with Your Website
    Go to your website's settings and select Planning Center Connection. This syncs all events created that day.

  5. Manual Sync (Optional)
    Click Manual Sync Events if you want to trigger a sync right away.

  6. Check the Posts
    After syncing, go to Posts and click All Posts. Your event (e.g., "Demo Event") will appear as a post.

  7. Edit the Event Post
    Click Edit to view and modify the event post. The description and image should be automatically imported, and you can add tags if needed.

That's it! Your Planning Center events are now linked to your website as posts.
