This guide will walk you through how to use the Sermon Manager feature on your website. The Sermon Manager allows you to organize and upload sermons, making them easily accessible to your congregation.
Prerequisites:
Access to the backend of your website
Sermon content (audio, video links, notes, etc.)
Log in to the backend of your website.
Navigate to the Sermons section.
Click on All Sermons to view previously uploaded sermons.
To add a new sermon, click Add New Sermon.
Enter the Sermon Title.
Set the Preached Date (when the sermon was delivered).
Choose a Service Type (e.g., Sunday Service, Midweek, Youth Service, etc.).
Add a Bible Passage (e.g., John 3:16) for categorization.
Audio: Upload an MP3 file if available (the system will automatically pull the duration).
Video: Choose one of the following methods:
Embed a YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook video using an embed code.
Paste a direct link to the sermon video.
Notes & Documents: Upload sermon notes, bulletins, or discussion questions if applicable.
Assign Books of the Bible related to the sermon.
Tag relevant Topics (e.g., prayer, faith, discipleship).
Add the Sermon Series if applicable.
Assign the Preacher delivering the sermon.
Upload a Featured Image for the sermon.
Tip: The more details you provide, the better your sermon archive will be for visitors searching for specific topics or series.
Review all entered details.
Click Publish to make the sermon live on your website.
Verify that the sermon appears correctly on the frontend of your site.
