How to Update a Donor Credit Card

Direct the Donor to go to your giving dashboard.  Typically linked from your main giving page.

First, the donor clicks the “Update Payment Info” link on the main interface.

The Update Payment Info link allows donors to update card info at the gateway.
That opens a new form where the current card’s last 4 digits are displayed, and new card fields are displayed below.
Once the donor fills out the card information, the new card number is sent to the payment gateway (over the secure SSL connection from your site to the gateway) and the response is displayed in an alert on the site.

The interface for updating the card is similar to the donation form itself.
