How To Make Simple Edits To Your Website with Tent Apps

Step By Step

1. Accessing the Visual Builder:

Option 1: Click the "Enable Visual Builder" on the desired page.
Option 2: Go to Dashboard, navigate to Pages > All Pages, locate and select the page to edit.

2. Understanding the Visual Builder Interface:

Sections, Rows, and Modules: Recognize the color-coding - Blue for Section, Aqua Green for Row, Gray for Module.
Primary focus on editing Modules.

3. Editing a Module:

Click on the desired Module to edit.
Use settings cog for module-specific actions: Copy, Download, Delete.
Explore additional options in the three buttons menu.

4. Basic Editing Functions:

Utilize the undo/redo buttons for reverting or reapplying changes.
Save changes by clicking the check button.
Access history with the clock icon for undoing specific actions.

5. Editing Text:

Click the settings button on the text module.
Understand different text types: Paragraph, Heading 1, Heading 3, etc.
Navigate to the design tab to modify text attributes.

6. Responsive Design for Text:

Adjust font size for different devices - computer, tablet, and phone.
Use the tablet and phone icons to customize text size for each device individually.
Ensure changes are saved to reflect on the front end.

7. Additional Text Styling:

Explore options like bold, italics, underline, and capitalization.
Center text as needed.
Add shadows and customize their colors.

8. Spacing and Padding:

Navigate to the spacing section to adjust padding.
Modify padding percentage based on design preferences.
Save changes to apply modifications.

9. Saving Changes:

Locate and click the three dots menu.
Click the Save button to ensure changes are saved.

10. Exiting the Visual Builder:

Click "Enable" or "Exit Visual Builder" to finalize changes.
Always save changes before exiting to reflect modifications on the front end.
