Step by Step
Log In:
- Log in to the backend of your website using your credentials.
Access Dashboard:
- On the dashboard, locate the pin icon, which may be labeled as "church news," "announcements," or "posts."
Navigate to New Post:
- Click on the "Add New" button or its equivalent on the dashboard.
Title and Description:
- Provide a title for the post (e.g., "Christmas Party").
- Add a description that will appear on the post.
Excerpt:
- Create an excerpt, usually a brief, enticing snippet from the post.
Featured Image:
- Click on "Set Featured Image."
- Use the instant images tab to choose a relevant image (e.g., for Christmas party).
Categories:
- Select appropriate categories (e.g., "children" for children's page, "events" for news page).
Additional Options:
- Choose to enable future action for scheduled posts.
- Set post deletion on a specific date, if necessary.
Publish:
- Click "Publish" to make the post live on your website.
