How to Create a Post or Announcement on Your Website and Mobile App

Step by Step

  1. Log In:

    • Log in to the backend of your website using your credentials.

  2. Access Dashboard:

    • On the dashboard, locate the pin icon, which may be labeled as "church news," "announcements," or "posts."

  3. Navigate to New Post:

    • Click on the "Add New" button or its equivalent on the dashboard.

  4. Title and Description:

    • Provide a title for the post (e.g., "Christmas Party").
    • Add a description that will appear on the post.

  5. Excerpt:

    • Create an excerpt, usually a brief, enticing snippet from the post.

  6. Featured Image:

    • Click on "Set Featured Image."
    • Use the instant images tab to choose a relevant image (e.g., for Christmas party).

  7. Categories:

    • Select appropriate categories (e.g., "children" for children's page, "events" for news page).

  8. Additional Options:

    • Choose to enable future action for scheduled posts.
    • Set post deletion on a specific date, if necessary.

  9. Publish:

    • Click "Publish" to make the post live on your website.
