How to Create a Featured Image or Graphic with Canva



  1. 1. Log into Tent Apps Website:

    • Access the backend of your Tent Apps website.
    • Navigate to the "Posts" section and select "Add New."

    2. Prepare Post:

    • Enter the necessary information for your post, including title and relevant details.
    • Choose appropriate categories and set any other required parameters such as expiration date.

    3. Access Canva Tool:

    • Click on the "Canvas Tool" to initiate the graphic creation process.

    4. Explore Templates:

    • The Canva Tool will present various templates for your graphic.
    • Select a template that suits your needs; these templates offer a convenient starting point for your design.

    5. Customize Graphic:

    • Modify the selected template by adjusting fonts, information, and any other relevant elements.
    • Ensure to name your graphic for easy identification.

    6. Publish Graphic:

    • Once satisfied with your graphic, hit the "Publish" button within the Canva Tool.

    7. Complete Post Publishing:

    • Unlike the previous process, the Canva Tool 2.0 does not immediately display the graphic in the featured image section.
    • Click on the "Publish" button or "Update" if the post is already published.

    8. Verify Featured Image:

    • After publishing or updating, the new Canva Tool automatically sets the created graphic as the featured image for your post.

    9. Troubleshooting:

    • If the featured image doesn’t appear immediately, don't worry; it has been saved.
