Editing Your Header and Footer Template


Here is a quick video tutorial on how you can use the visual builder to edit your global header or footer template that shows up on all of your pages.

Step By Step

  1. Enable Visual Builder:

    1. Click on "Enable Visual Builder" at the top of the page.

  2. Access the Footer Template:

    1. Navigate to the bottom, hover over the editor footer template.

    2. Click on the template.

  3. Edit Global Template:

    1. Inside, you are editing the global template for the entire website.

    2. Make necessary updates, such as changing social media links.

  4. Inspect and Preview:

    1. Click on the three dots for more options.

    2. Preview the template on a tablet and mobile to ensure responsiveness.

  5. Adjusting Elements:

    1. Modify text size and positioning:

      1. Click on the element you want to adjust.

      2. Move or resize as needed.

      3. Go to "Design" for further modifications.

    2. Shrinking Button Size:

      1. Click on the button.

      2. Navigate to "Design" and adjust the text size.

    3. Adding Spacing:

      1. Navigate to "Spacing."

      2. Adjust padding or margins as needed.

  6. Mobile-Specific Adjustments:

    1. Ensure adjustments are made specifically for mobile view.

      1. Click on the element.

      2. Modify the settings for mobile.

  7. Save Changes:

    1. Click the green check box to confirm changes.

    2. Click "Save" to update the footer template throughout the website.

  8. Apply Changes to Header:

    1. Similar steps can be followed to edit the header template.

    2. Navigate to the top, make necessary changes, and save.

  9. Final Confirmation:

    1. Confirm changes are reflected on the entire website.

    2. Test on various devices to ensure responsiveness.
