Step By Step

  1. Duplicate Base Form:

    • Navigate to the online forms dashboard (Online Forms or Ninja Forms).
    • Locate the base form and duplicate it for customized smart actions.
  2. Form Naming:

    • Duplicate the base form.
    • Adjust the form name to reflect its purpose (e.g., Welcome Table Check-in Form).
  3. Display Settings:

    • Access the form's display settings.
    • Rename the form to 'Welcome Table Check-in Form'.
    • Customize form fields as needed.
  4. Form Code Retrieval:

    • Copy the generated form code.
  5. Create a New Webpage:

    • Access the website's backend.
    • Add a new webpage for the Welcome Table Check-in.
    • Name the page, e.g., 'Welcome'.
    • Paste the form code into the webpage.
  6. Page Customization:

    • Adjust the page template to 'Blank Page' for a clean display.
    • Customize the page title (e.g., "We Are Glad You Are Here").
    • Edit the URL for simplicity (e.g., /welcome).
  7. Sidebar Removal:

    • Ensure the page has no sidebar for a cleaner interface.
  8. Testing:

    • Open the page in a new tab to verify the layout.
    • Ensure the form is visible and functions correctly.
    • Make adjustments as necessary.
  9. Email Redirect Action:

    • Access the form settings.
    • In the email and actions section, add a new action.
    • Choose the redirect option.
    • Set the redirect URL to the Welcome Table Check-in page (/welcome).
  10. Final Testing:

  • Test the form again to confirm the redirect functionality.
  • Ensure the form redirects to the designated page after submission.
